Vis Descriptions
Aquam
On the mid-day of each Hermetic season, a bucket is lowered into the pool and poured into four containers, each of which will contain one pawn of Aquam vis. The covenant typically converts the aquam vis into other forms for ease of use and trading (as per page 94). Simon has converted a number of pawns of Aquam vis into chips of shale.
Creo
TBD
Herbam
Every summer the covenant is allowed to select five golden walnuts from the copse which serves as the entry point into the second level of the King of the Glade’s regio.
Ignem
Ash from the wall of a burnt out church a few miles from the covenant produces Ignem vis. It takes a magus an hour or so of scraping to get the two pawns worth. Once the vis has been harvested it takes six months for a new amount to accumulate. The church will never accumulate more than two pawns worth (and so a harvesting can be lost). Felix has been harvesting from the church every spring and autumn, but then he also tends to keep the vis for his own projects.
Imaginem
Every All Hallowed Eve a ghost can be seen wandering the graveyard beside the burnt out church. The next morning mushrooms will appear by one of the grave. The mushrooms contain Imaginem vis.
Rego
The covenant keeps bee-hives, one of which is at the edge of the fairy woods (but not within it). Every summer the honey produced can be harvested providing this Rego vis.
Terram
Despite having no tide or currents, once a season small purple stones wash ashore, each containing Terram vis.
Vim
Like the Terram vis, the pool washes quartz-like crystals of Vim vis. This happens haphazardly through out the year, and is described as one in the spring and summer, two in the fall and winter for ease of record keeping.
